Happy New Year and I hope this finds you well and happy. I'm not very good at self-promotion, but I'm going to give it a shot. Here goes...

As some of you already know, awhile back a reading was done of my play, "Einstein Comes Through." Here's the good news: It's being produced at North Coast Repertory Theatre http://www.northcoastrep.org and I'm getting paid and everything. Previews are January 19-21 and the show opens January 22 and runs through February 6th. Here's the bad news: It's in Solana Beach, about twenty miles north of San Diego. Now, I know it's a long way to go to see a show but I just didn't want to hear all that, "why didn't you tell me? I would have come if I knew"... you know, all that kind of stuff. So, I'm making an attempt for the first time in my life to ... what do you call it, Network? Maybe in the 80's they called it that. I don't know what the hell they call it now. Anyway, you can take a train (there's a Solana Beach stop) or it's about an hour and a half drive from Glendale, if the traffic is good, if not, may God have mercy on your soul. My partner in this venture is David Ellenstein and for those of you who know him, or have worked with him, you already know that he is a very talented and righteous dude and a terrific director and hopefully that will soften the blow that you are about to receive. IT'S JUST ME ON STAGE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF! I understand that this might be too painful for some of you to bear. Hell, I'm not even sure if I can take it! But, I do hope you can come. It's a good show. It's a world premiere and without giving too much away, I will tell you that for the first fifteen minutes of the show, I will be live, on stage, in my underwear. That alone folks, is worth... I'm not sure what. Look, it's your choice. I have to be there, you don't, but if you come, I'll buy you a drink after the show or maybe before the show depending on how this thing is received.
